Easter Chick Egg Holder and Garland – Printable Template – New in Pixel Occasions Shop!

Easter Chick Egg Holder and Garland – Printable Template – New in Pixel Occasions Shop!

This adorable Easter chick is just waiting to be made to hug your Easter treats!  This listing  for printable templates to make egg holders and garlands is brand new in the Pixel Occasions shop.

I decided that after decorating lots of  hard boiled and blown eggs that it would be fun to make a unique holder for the eggs so I came up with this very cute huggable chick. I liked the finished result so much that I am offering it as a product in my Pixel Occasions shop.  There are two templates included, both in glorious colour, which are interactive pdf files.  This means that you can type in your own wording on your Easter chicks before printing , using the free programme Adobe Reader.  Make sure that you are using version 8 or later.

This is what she looks like when she is made and this mama chick is proudly hugging a couple of colourful juniors. In the interactive pdf you can type wording on the back and front of her wings to personalise it as a gift or table place holder.

The first template is for an egg holder and the chick has been designed to sit down with her wings hugging a decorated egg, chocolate egg or any other small Easter treat(s).  The egg holder can be given as a gift filled with treats or can be used as a name place holder at your Easter party.  You can type the children’s names and Easter message on the separate wing section of the chick in the template before you print.  Make as many as you require for the party!

This photo shows you how the chick sits and can be filled with Easter treats . The name Catherine has been typed on the back as a name place holder.  A yellow pom pom has been glued on for the chick’s tail as a finishing touch. Imagine one of these for each child at an Easter party!

The second template is for a garland and the chicks are joined together by their wings.  They can adorn your table, be wrapped around a cake or used as a room decoration.  You have the option of typing in wording on the chicks as well for an Easter Greeting.

After printing, they should be cut out using a scalpel or small pair of sharp scissors, folded and glued.
